In this activity, you will learn the foundations of Gleason Scoring including the salient differences between classical and ISUP modified Gleason Scoring. You will also be able to explain the clinical significance of the Gleason score including its use in nomograms to determine subsequent management.

After completing this activity, you should be able to:

  • Compare and contrast the classical and ISUP- and GUPS-modified Gleason system.
