Description
This Forensic Pathology Program (FR) includes five cases. You will be presented with the case history and circumstances, scene investigation, images, test results, autopsy results, discussion, and key points, as applicable. Each case will be available as a PDF file, along with a zip file of the case images in png format for your continued use and reference.

Bonus Case Included!
An additional case, Employee Safety, is included in this activity only. This case includes a scenario on safe patient handling practice and related resources. Bonus case content and associated assessment questions do not offer any additional CME credits.

Objectives
After completing this activity, you should be able to:

  1. Use gross and/or microscopic images to identify lesions from traumatic and nontraumatic entities.
  2. Recognize the presentation of various diseases and injuries.
  3. Integrate ancillary testing into the evaluation and interpretation of forensic cases.
  4. Integrate the clinical history with the medicolegal death investigation to determine the cause and manner of death.
  5. Improve the quality of the practice of forensic pathology.
