Description
This Autopsy Pathology Program (AUP) activity features five cases. You will be presented with a clinical summary, autopsy findings, static images, practical tips, key teaching points, and a cause of death statement for each case. Each case will be available as a downloadable PDF file, along with a zip file of the case images in png format for your continued use and reference.

The assessment questions are no longer located at the end of the activity. Five assessment questions will be presented immediately after reviewing each case.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this assessment activity, you should be able to:

  1. Accurately identify diseases and presentations of diseases using clinical summaries, autopsy findings, and provided images.
  2. Understand the pathophysiology and/or clinical implications of a disease process encountered at autopsy.
  3. Provide an accurate cause of death using clinical summaries, autopsy findings, and provided images.
  4. Identify a role for ancillary testing to rule in or rule out specific diagnoses and determine the cause of death, as applicable.
