Description
With changing reimbursement patterns and pressures to improve value-based care, laboratory utilization has become a more important topic in clinical pathology. This activity presents several techniques that are helpful in two areas: reducing unneeded or non-reimbursed testing and improving use and interpretation of laboratory tests to reduce diagnostic errors. Appropriate laboratory utilization will positively impact patient care and improve care efficacy.
This clinical pathology activity is intended for pathologists.
