In Further Pursuit of Excellence: The College of American Pathologists, 1946-2020 is a history of the CAP written in recognition of the CAP's 75th Anniversary. The history focuses on the missions of the CAP — Laboratory Excellence, Advocacy, Service to our members and Education — seen through the lens of the evolution of CAP programs and services. The emphasis is on the past 25 years but the entire 75-year history of the CAP is described as well.
